Giving a Jaguar a double colour change – Series 3 E-type

This series 3 E-type left the factory painted in the stunning colour Regency Red with a tan interior. At some point the car’s exterior was changed to black.

We were asked by our client to return the car to its original exterior colour and to change the interior colour. The client did not like tan interiors and after some debate we settled on a brand-new red leather interior for the car.

The car was completely stripped, and we took the opportunity to refresh the engine whilst it was out. We carried out a bare metal re-paint and our trimmer crafted a complete interior. The soft-top and dash were also replaced.

The Result

The car now looks stunning in Regency Red with its handmade red leather interior. Our client was so happy that he has brought us a Series 1.5 E-type to restore.
