Many people love the look and driving feel of classic cars but have little interest in their mechanical operation. For many classic car owners, it is the carburettors that cause most anxiety. After many years of operation their components become worn adding to the relative complexity of adjustment.
In September 2017 The Department for Transport (DfT) announced that classic cars more than 40 years old would be exempt from MOT testing from May 2018. This news arrived with a whimper rather than a bang and we have found many of our clients are still unaware of the change.
